A problem doesn't really exist in the minds of the public until someone makes a movie about it. Paging Erin Brockavich.

It's about time this got some publicity. Developing the Marcellus Shale for gas is fraught with problems, damage to aquifers being one of the main ones. We need clean water worse than we need natural gas.

Not knowing Josh Fox's credentials, I have to be somewhat skeptical of the objectivity of the film. It may be a while before the objectivity of the film is known.

I saw part of the news clip with flame coming out of a water faucet with the water... cook and wash at the same time I guess.

If they would all be a lot more open, we'd be better off and would likely know of, and be able to solve the problems sooner.

Greed in action. Big corporations don't care about consequences as long as they can't be charged (legally or financially)

I have seen this film and thanks to hydraulic fracturing, these peoples water is combined with gas and ignites if you light it. There water is poisoned thanks to the big boys. This can happen anywhere this type of drilling is allowed. Anyone who thinks this is funny better realize this can happen, whose going to stop them.

The side effects of fracking are not reversible or repairable. Enjoy your drinking water while you have it.
