Had X-rays today. No broken parts :-) Almost back to normal. Thanks.

Hey, how have you been greywolves?! I left a couple droppings on the news threads regarding the Gulf oil spill disaster and thought I would let you know (hard to make light of a situation like that, but never hard to make fun of the people that support drilling there)!

Thanks for stopping by my "Just say HI" thread! Stop by often & have a great day!

Have a safe holiday

Good morning, hope you did not buy into the current suckers rally. The Greek crisis was a crisis about fiat money. The whole planet followed the U.S. down the fiat trail and if the E.U. allowed the Euro to fail, all fiat money globally would be in trouble.

Hi: see we are neighbors on the 30 day ranking list. Like your comment on the US dollar. My concern is our dealings with China. Well take care.

by BKool  Apr 26, 2010

All nations holding dollars and buying treasuries do so because at the moment there is no alternative. In a global economy, the U.S. is still the big dog on the porch and all roads lead to Washington. The U.S. is simply printing money, creating money electronically and borrowing money daily. The world does not want to see America's dollar collapse for it will ruin their economies. Congress has raised our credit limit over 100 times during my life. If you only make the minimum payment on your credit card and continue to go deeper in debt you will default. The United States of America will default. CNBC and Bloomberg both acknowledge that the first nation to issue gold backed currency will win the day.

Check out my comment about wave energy today 4/25/2010. I thought you would get a kick out of it.

Thanks for the kind words -- wish there were a few more who learned something about critical thinking and a lot fewer who can only repeat one-liners. Illegitimus non carborundum - don't let the bastards wear you down.

The tweel article is over 5 years old. Given the fact, not much has been heard about it since, I do not think we will be seeing any commercial applications soon. If we do, it will be in the construction industry or perhaps in some military applications. The noise factor, consumer reluctance to try new technology and the cost of converting factories are all things that put the tweel into the more distant future.
